Need feedback from fellow chowhounds on a Manhattan restaurant that opens for lunch on saturday. We are 3 'gourmand' pals travelling around the world and just happen to converge on NYC for a day - unfortunately a saturday!. Although most restaurants will be close for lunch on that day, however, we still are trying to look for a real memorable meal for this rare occassion. Babbo was our first choice but they only serve dinner. Bernadin was my choice, but one of us doesn't fancy fish. Is Daniel too formal for lunch and do they have a luncheon tasting menu with wine pairing? Lastly, saw lots of posting on Hearth. Is it a new restaurant? Are they open for lunch on a saturday? Is their food really worth all the hype? Many Thanks!!!
