Looking for a nice dinner recommendation for this Saturday evening. We have our favorites when we visit but we have never visited during Christmastime. I know it can be crazy. Does anyone have recommendations for the best dinner without fighting the crowds? Would West Village or Greenwich Village both be on the quieter side? We would prefer walkable from midtown and window shopping. Assume Eataly is a particular mess during the holidays? We would like ala carte and Italian, American, or something similar. Something that is higher end food but casual and allows jeans. Any ideas?
