Saturday Brunch at Cafe Sierra

Ralph | Jul 16, 200403:06 PM

A Saturday Brunch at the Cafe Sierra in the Universal
Hilton was a very pleasing experience for us.
We were invited for a Wedding Anniversary party
and were quite impressed with the buffet brunch.

It was impossible to peruse through all the selections,
but there was a carving table, with Baked Ham, Turkey,
Rib Roast, Lamb.....there was a seafood section with
oysters in the shell, clams in the shell, mussels
in the shell, and king crab legs....there was an attendant
in the omelette section cooking omelettes to order....a Chinese
section with some dim dum, stir fry dishes, and variety of Chinese barbecue, poultry, and fish dishes,
and the usual array of brunch offerrings.
It's located in a very pleasing section with a good
amount of sunlight, table cloths, nice silverware,
floral arrangements, etc. and an outdoor patio if you wish.
We noticed that the price was $21.95 per for the Saturday Brunch....the Sunday Brunch is $34.00plus,
(Don't know what the difference is.) and the evening
price is $38.95. Understand that they serve Prime Rib
and Maine Lobster in the evening.
The service people were very prompt in picking up
the used dishes as we went for our second and third rounds for the buffet fare.
The only sour note was the $7.00 for validated self
parking. ( Why do people pull this heist?)
