... Polish food, what else!
We recently relocated from NYC, and had access to all Greenpoint had to offer.
I realize that there most-likely is nothing that compares here (sigh), both in terms of restaurants and markets. Saw ONE post on the board dating from April 2005.
We were hoping for:
Perogis to cook at home (good frozen ones are ok)
Kielbasa (all kinds.. smoked, fresh, thin kabanosy, etc.)
Good home-style cooking (we lived near a Polish restaurant in Queens called "Just Like Mothers")
We live just north of GTown, but will travel to score the goods if we have to ! (Anything should be closer than Brooklyn)
