Satay Sate - Indonesian Street food

Teep | May 6, 201711:10 AM

Went to this place near North York Centre. It has casual seating with counters and bar stools, and the food is served in takeout containers.

The menu is really limited. My friend who grew up in Indonesia found the beef rendang to be watered down; he could get better results by using a mix from the supermarket. My fried chicken was OK but found the spicing to be weak too. A third friend had the fried rice and he liked it.

We all had satay as well and it was good; my tempeh skewer tasted really fresh, but wish there was more satay sauce.

You can get the satay as an entree with salad or in a wrap, so that is what I would recommend.
