sassi, in encino

just went there and pretty good food, including little israeli0-style panchan plates they bring out before the main dishes.

anwyays, the moussaka here was pretty good, (though yo're warned about there not being any cheese in it nor behcamel, it's strictly glatt kosher here).

the lemonade slushy is pretty good, for the kid in all of us.

and they got non-dairy desserts if you happen to care for that stuff. definitely worth a try if you're in the neighborhood, and just because it's kosher doesn't mean it's short on flavor.

i'll have to try the hummus, falafel, and stuffed cabbage for some follow up dishes, along with the turkey sharwerma.
