Next week's NY Mag notes that chef Sarah Jenkins is opening a place near Shopsin's (of all things). It's called 50 Carmine and is Italian: "braised rabbit with nutty Umbrian chickpeas, pea shoots in her brodo of chicken and Parmesan. She dresses fresh escarole with a chili-spiked anchovy dressing, and lavishes exquisite bucatini with a dark, delicious purée of cavolo nero and breadcrumbs."
She bounced out of Patio Dining (at which I have one great and one terrible meal) earlier this year.
