Sapphire Indian Report - Way to Expensive

Went for New Year Eve. The folks there are extremely friendly and accommodated my wife, 2 year old son and I very well. The menu is clean and simple with all usual suspects present. Great wine list and sommolier in attendence.
Two turn offs. My wife asked for a recommendation and was very specific about wanting something extremely mild. The chicken dish she was served was nothing short of nuclear. I love extreme heat. One bit from both of us distroyed our sense of taste for the rest of the meal. They did offer to bring another dish, but the meal was ruined.
The prices....forgetaboutit. I'm sorry a nice dining room alone does not warrant $18 lamb saag that was no better then any $5.99 buffet in NYC.
