Researching a visit to Santa Fee for this April. We're looking for the most authentic regional cooking -be it expensive or not. Places where locals eat preferred although we could use suggestions for some fancy dinners too.
While my husband has been there before, I haven't and I'm a much more adventurous eater. I relish the idea of finally being able to try the real thing of so many things I love. My DH and I have no need to do any other type of food while there (tho we might) since we can get our fill of great Italian, Indian, Chinese and all else from our home base and surrounding areas (NYC/NJ) but really good southwestern and/or mexican is hard to find, especially in NJ, where we live.
