Santa Clarita Area Dining

Just came back from my second time eating at a wonderful gem I discovered. Mulligan's in Valencia on Tournament Road. Its in a strip mall type plaza and it has nice high semi-circular booths, wonderful beams and large chandeliers inside, not what it appears from the outside.

Not a chain (a big bonus out in this area) pleasant staff and delicious food. They make most everything from scratch including the baked potato skins and the cream of broccoli soup I had tonight. I had teriyaki steak tips that were the most tender I have ever had, no fat, no gristle.

My dining companion had the Steak and Shrimp combo which included a big piece of perfect sirloin (no fat!) and 6 large shrimp served in a garlic butter sauce.

Last monday we went for dinner and I had a delicious reuben, nice lean corned beef, very moist and flavorful.

You can see their menu at the link below. I highly recommend stopping if you are in the area.
