Sanamluang in Thai Town Hollywood

Thai Fly | Feb 3, 2006 07:40 PM

My friends and I have been going here for years on virtually a weekly basis. We absolutely love it, but we generally order the same handful of dishes every time for fear of branching out and being disappointed. We've had egg rolls, won tons, duck salad, larb (chicken and pork), tom kha gai (coconut soup with chicken), tom yum gai (sweet and sour soup with chicken), pad see ewe (noodles with beef and chinese broccoli), pad kee mow (noodles with ground beef, tomatoes, chilies, and mint), green curry, red curry, panang curry, vegetarian curry, and cha-po (fried pork and duck sampler).

Okay, it looks like we've tried a lot of things, but as you know if you've been here before, there's a lot more to try. So what else do you recommend?

One more thing: we've never been there early enough to try the green papaya salad (I think they stop serving it at 6 pm), but we've had it at Ruen Pair down the street. Has anyone had it at Sanamluang? Can anyone compare it to Ruen Pair's? I'm curious if it's worth trying at some point.

Thanks for the help!
