San Tung Restaurant

Shants | Jan 30, 200211:27 PM

On Irving between 10th and 11th.

I was there a couple of weeks ago. We had the fried pot stickers and they tasted good. I can't say these were all that much bigger than the ones you get at any other neighborhood chinese restaurant. Though my friend did say that they seemed smaller than she remembered and she is a regular.

We made a sauce by mixing soy sauce, reddish coloured vinegar and chilli paste. Sooooooooooo good to dip the pot stickers in.

We also had shrimp & leek and pork steamed dumplings. But I wasn't all that keen on those.

Besides the dumpling we had spicy fried chicken wings, spicy noodle soup, spicy fried prawns. The chicken wings were the best things I've had in a long time.

Also, the place was totally packed with people lined outside waiting to get in at 7pm Thursday night.

There was a pie shop (savoury pot pie type) next door. Anyone know anything about this place?
