San Sebastian area for a rustic and simple wedding dinner

My fiance and I have decided to have a wedding party (instead of a big wedding) with our best friends in the San Sebastian area. The Basque country is fantastic, a large part of the group surfs, and since everyone is traversing from everywhere, we pecked it with our hearts (and our bellies).

Now we want to keep things low key, and we have been looking at a small place we know at Playa De Laga named Toki Alai. Love it, but it might not be possible, so we are looking for an alternative closer or in San Sebastian.

The plan (or lack of the same) is to be roughly 30 people and Saturday, May 4th. We are looking for good food as well as a great atmosphere. If we could have a smaller restaurant all by ourselves that would be perfect, but if not a place with a somewhat private area could be great as well. Now we don't have hotels — we'd likely be staying in different places across the city — so we won't have local concierge help in the city. That said we speak Spanish and have a little Basque speaking help as well, but nothing professional.

Anything in the vicinity of the city, a bit of a view would always be welcome. Any recommendations and suggestions would be appreciated.
