San Jose - Hello Desserts

Sunny | Apr 22, 200409:02 PM

Finally, got a chance to check out "Hello Desserts" at San Jose. My friend has been recommending this place for long long time, but I was too lazy to drive over there. Anyway, at first, I thought it was just another drinking house selling Pearl drinks. Why bother!!! After I looked at their menu which was nicely designed, I was overwhelmed by the huge selection of desserts and they all looked really yummmmmy...

I ordered a Mango Moo smoothie and a vanilla creme burlee. The Mango Moo actually topped with fresh mango chunk and it tasted like eating a whole mango out of your hand. It definitely better than Jamba Juice. For vanilla creme burlee, they caramelized the surface right before servicing. It then topped with fresh strawberry slices and blueberries. It was so tasty that I remembered the best one in a French restaurant at San Francisco. I forgot the name of that resturant since it was 5 years ago. With the price less than $5 for this item, it was the best vanilla creme burlee in bay area and no question about it was even better than those fancy French resturant.

Surely, I will return to it for more desserts and drinks. They are at 1698 Hostetter rd. They are in the same shopping center of Ranch 99 supermarket and next to the BBQ resturant place. I think they open late. Just call before heading out. 408-453-5566.
