I am hoping a relative visiting the BA can pick me up a few loaves of that thick and chewy long sourdough bread that used to be baked by Columbo and Toscana. I thought I heard they were kaput...I miss those old Fisherman's Wharf style breads that would fill the bread baskets at say, the old Spengers in Bezerkeley. I now live out of state. Please reply if you can help. Thank you!
