looking for San Francisco restaurants with private rooms

Hi all - I know this question has come up before, but none of the previous discussions quite touch on what I'm hoping to find, which is:

I need a restaurant that has a private room, or at least a semi-secluded space for a dinner on Friday, 2/21. Further things I hope this place might have: moderately priced menu (I'd like the bill to run around $30 per person, though less would be great) and near a BART station or MUNI line. 8-10 people, all women, celebrating a soon-to-arrive baby.

This is for a dinner that I'd like to keep leisurely. Good food a must, of course, and just as important, I want to keep the pressure off making us feel rushed or crowded - I do not want too much noise. Not picky as to the kind of food, though I do want somewhere that has decent desserts.

Does not have to be impressive or fancy, just a decent place and a decent space. If a restaurant could provide that, I'd love to go there even if it didn't have a private room - I just figure that we'd have a better chance of being able to hang out for 2 hours or so with no pressure and no problems being comfortable and hearing each other if we were a bit on our own.

So: if this makes anyone think of anyplace in particular, I'd love to hear about it. Am thinking of asking Home on Market Street if we can take over a corner for a little while, that is, perhaps, a guide to what I'm after.

Thanks for any suggestions.
