I forgot one!
The food is wonderful, the service...maybe not so much. However, the fact that my family and I were the only white people in the place was a good sign as to how authentic the food is!
We split several dishes. My two favories are the shrimp with garlic (in their shells absolutely doused in garlic bits. Many of the shrimp also had hundreds of eggs attached to their bodies - what a delicious treat!) and the honey Seabass. I've had this dish at Koi twice now, and it is just beyond phenomenal. The fish is so light and tender, it just melts in your mouth. The outside is red and mildly sweet. YUM!
Our big disappointment was when dad ordered the liver and jellyfish dish only to have the waitress come out and tell us they were all out! So sad. Oh well, there's always next time!
