Hello all. I'm from Chicago area and am headed to San Fran in November for a 1 week food trip and looking for insider advice. 3 of us will be going and have our own transportation. Food preferences are somewhat open but American New and American Traditional are favorites. Unbelievably, one of our members does not enjoy raw fish so many of the Japanese Sushi bars are out. I know .... :(

The plan at the moment is to schedule 3-4 tasting menus. Strongly considering COI & Commis. Suggestions?

With the remaining meals, we would like to sample some of what San Fran has to offer (Any price range). I would guess Dim sum/Chinese is a must? Any must eat styles of food, restaurants, or suggestions?
