I just moved from SF to a suburb of San Diego. Who are the local food reviewers? What days of the week do the food reviews get published? Besides the Union Tribune, what other publications have food reviews? Whose opinions do chowhounds respect and who is not worth reading?
So far I've ready one review by Marcia Manna of the Tribune and a few by David White in the Coast news. Marcia and David reviewed the same restauarant where I ate. Based on one review, Marcia seems like a dim bulb. She didn't do her homework and I learned a lot more about the restaurant from David's review.
So what's the skinny on your food reviewers? Am I just not finding them in the Friday and Sunday version of the Tribune?
