Samuel's Deli... an abomination

timmy | Nov 14, 2002 08:40 AM

Everytime I walk by Samuel's deli on N broadway, I am reminded what a waste of space this place is. And how is it still in business. The exterior might lead one to believe that inside is a good quality jewish deli. But inside the place is dirty and the food is awful and overpriced. Something like $5.95 for a corned beef sandwich, and the corned beef comes pre-measured into teeny tiny sandwich bags. Very small quantity for a huge price. And its just plain vienna beef. Would someone put a real jewish deli in this place. Cause besides the Bagel there are no good options in Lakeview which is very surprising for the neighborhood.
