So i was wandering around at lunch strolling over to my usual picnic spot (the tables on the raised patio above Yerba Buena Gardens, not the patio attached to the Metreon, but the patio directly above the giant MLK JR fountain) and when i went over to sit down and lay out my food, some guy appears out of thin air and says "Sorry, this is a restaurant now and we are seating here for lunch" i was aghast..."i have been eating here for almost 2 years, when the hell did it become a restaurant?"
So now it is another Samovar Tea Lounge setting. Just thought i would let you all know there is another down town lunch spot to check out before it gets over run with tourists visiting the musuems and such....I will give it a shot on monday if the weather is still nice and report back.
Also, I have a reservation for El Mansour tomorrow night for some dinner and belly dancing! yeah! so i was not that overly impressed with Aziza when i went, and i am wondering if there is anything that is really not worth missing at El Mansour, otherwise i am going for the chicken with olives and lemons.
