Salvation Burger

sam1 | Mar 11, 201606:27 AM

Just a quick note on Salvation Burger. I stopped here after a concert last night at 11pm and tried two of their burgers. Their 'Salvation Burger' was a whopping $25 and had some pretty strong reviews but I didn't care for it and it certainly wasn't worth $25. Meat was very compactly packed and the bun was too 'bread-y.' I have zero issues paying $30+ for the black label burger at Minetta but this was not nearly as good.

Their $17 fast food style burger was much better. A bit sloppy but delicious. Like a high end in n' out burger.

Without fries, both of these were a bit ridiculously overpriced but that's midtown. Having a bite to eat in a hotel restaurant is not hip or fun in any way. I suppose you could do worse for a burger if you're in the area but I'd rather go to pj clarkes or the burger joint rather than salvation next time.
