Lunched at A16 today.
I used to go bi-weekly when I was working in the area, but hadn't been in 2 months.
Noticed there is now a house-made salumi selection on the lunch menu and remarked on it to the waitress. She told me it is a new addition and although it doesnt specify, you can reqest mixed salumi instead of the choice of 3 separate types available. (one braesola, one with fennel and one I cant remember the name of)
Also had my first try of tripe. What is happening to me? Duck tongue one day, tripe the next, gee i am progressing. Tripe it turns out, is not really my cup of tea. Nothing wrong with the taste, just not enamoured with the texture, personally. I am sure A16's is very good to people who like tripe. Anyway, there you go, it is on the lunch menu at the moment, first time I have seen it there, just in case you are interested...
