I often order dishes at Cantonese restaurants with salted fish in them, but it occurs to me I don't know what type of fish that is. K K, ipsedixit, limster, Steve...anyone else know?
Had one last night that was just listed as steamed minced pork and salted fish. What interested me about it was that it seemed to be mixed with egg...it was no omelet, mind you, but it seemed to use egg as a binding. Was I correct about that or no?
