I'm living in Salt Lake City for the summer (originally a Boston chowhound) and have been searching the board for restaurant recs. I've been impressed by the good reviews about Thai Garden, but several weeks ago there was a post about an ownership shakeup at this place (Pawit apparently sold his share of the restaurant and was going to open his own place). I was wondering if Thai Garden is still worth a visit or if it's taken a turn for the worse since he jumped ship.
I've really enjoyed the other SLC recommendations that I've tried thus far. Had a great meal at Mazza a couple of weeks ago and a terrific lunch of empanadas and Kouing Amans at Les Madeleines (can't wait for the owner to get back from her trip to China and reopen).
