Salt dried black olives

Any suggestions on how to use salt dried black olives? I've tried marinating them (after rinsing the salt off) in olive oil and dried spices, and they remained incredibly intense. I also took these marinated olives and tried them in Ottolenghi's chicken tangine cooked in the oven, and the incredible intensity remained. I still have almost 5 lbs of these. Please help!
