Salmon season?

when is local BC wild salmon avail?

i noticed in the market today some of the famed Copper River sockeye (fresh)

the employee said it is like butter --- delicious with no seasonings, just a bit of lemon and butter, and salt and pepper, gently cooked and then let it rest. I don't like the smell of cooking in my house - so i do it on a preheated bbq - on foil (bbq foil) --- close the lid, do not flip or mess with it
