gah. its been a fair challenge trying to buy the collars. the salmon heads are easy.
i'm in santa rosa. our local fish monger keeps smoking the collars. haha. i'm sure they are rich, smokey and delicious; but i want some fresh ones. i have my iphone alarm set to call them at 11:00 am when they say, they start butchering the local haul.
i called Olivers and they said they get the salmon fillets delivered..no onsite salmon butchering.
i want to grill some this weekend.
i need to get on a salmon boat!! i bet i could get dozens from the other fishermen. :)
