I like salads, so I buy them often at lunch. You get the usual container packed full of salad stuff. You get the dressing separately. You put the dressing on top of the salad, but you can't toss the salad because the container doesn't allow any room for such activity; you gingerly attempt to stir the salad around, but bits of lettuce start flying out. So you usually end up with salad that's disgustipatingly soggy on top, and bone-dry on the bottom. You think maybe it would be wise to apply the dressing a little at a time, as your salad gets eaten, but that's such a nuisance, and you still don't get an evenly dressed salad.
Maybe I'm just a spaz. Any advice for me? (Please don't tell me to bring my own salad in a huge container with a lid that I can shake-shake...)
Thanks very much.
