Wanted to recover from a disappointing dinner at Mimosa last night so hopped over to Saffron on Westwood Boulevard's little Restaurant Row - their buffet lunch is $6.99 with different dishes every day, includes freshly baked nan, six different dishes including chicken curry, tandoori chicken - really excellent, fresh raita and salad of designer lettuce well dressed plus cloth napkins, nice service and the horrible parking made better by the availability of parking at Ross in the lower level up the street.

Thai Fresh next door has good and fast delivery. But skip the Indonesian restaurant where the shrimp I had last week had a sauce made out of ketchup (really).
