SABOR DE MEXICO in Princeton

I've visited this a few times now in the Princeton Shopping Center on Harrison St., and I cant say enough about the place. Impossibly fresh, warm chips and chunky salsa to nibble on, the salsa chucnked with tomatoes and roasted corn, the chips, light as air.

But the dishes here are the soul of this tiny (24 seats, with a few outdoor tables), fantastic enchiladas stuffed with marinated chicken and cheese (my partner's choice for an entree on both visits), once covered with a red sauce, slightly smoky, the second time done with a salsa verde that was a subtle flame-thrower. Ive had tacos both times, once an order of chorizo ones, with really good spicy chorizo and Oaxaca cheese, the last visit, tacos with more of that good shredded chicken.

It's a real find, I think. Saw an article this spring in the NY Times about it, went there that night, and have visited afew more times. Just great real Mexican food with soul. Glad it's in my neighborhood.

Anyone else been there?
