Quick shout-out to this sandwich - basic scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and the usual banh mi accompaniments: shredded carrots, daikon and cucumber, cilantro, plus avocado spread and I got mine with a little miso mayo (over hot sauce).
Banh mi purists may take issue with the bread not being crispy enough - it was a soft roll, rather than the crackly hard French bread style.
But I liked it - if you are a fan of Alexander's breakfast bombs, this is the Vietnamese take on it. Right tasty, priced right at $6 and the best breakfast I have found in the Financial District.
