Went for brunch this morning, but asked when making reservations about the RW menu.

The separate RW menu has a choice of 2 apps: tomato soup or garden salad; 3 rather lackluster entrees: lasagna, celery root schnitzel and meatloaf; and only one dessert choice: tre leches, can't remember if it was cheesecake or strudel. As you can see, it was rather lame. Only the celery root schnitzel seemed to have anything to do with their signature, which is Austrian bistro food.

We stuck with the brunch menu instead, which was more than enough food. Everyone was happy with their choices but myself: they had the savory crepes stuffed with smoked trout and sauerkraut topped with a mushroom gravy (excellent) and the roast beef hash with fried egg and spinach puree (very good). I had the overly sweet brioche french toast with caramelized bananas and apricot preserves (like goopy candy). We shared an app of gravlax (ok) and a dessert special of farmer's cheese strudel (rich and good). With juice, mimosas, and coffee all around = $81 for 3 people.

Good restaurant, but don't rush to get there during RW. BTW they offer a special prix fixe every Monday night for $19.95.
