I posted here a while back about Aureole's failure to keep the lunch reservation I'd made there via Open Table. When I called Aureole and explained what happened, they were coolly unsympatethetic. An Aureole staffer told me she'd call me back to let me know whether they'd honor the reservation.
I never heard back until yesterday, the day before my original reservation. They said they could take me. I essentially told them to stick the reservation up their sea bass.
If you're planning a trip to Aureole, be aware that the customer service there leaves a lot to be desired, and that the restaurant won't necessarily honor your reservation.
