RW- Georgia Browns

Not a great example of the kind of work they should be capable of doing.
We were a party of 6 for dinner... the place was crowded, but not excessive. However, we were rushed, hoping to turn the table I guess. They offered 2 choices for RW, and only 2 of the 6 of us chose to partake. Off the menu the crab soup was OK, but thin on the crab, and chowder, (served warm, (returned to the kitchen for a hotter version)) was quite good. The RW lamp chops were very good. Other items ordered were, fried chicken (I make better, and actually so does Popeyes), and the gumbo was only fair for Washington, but certainly not New Orleans quality. The waiter tried to pour a bottle of room temp. white wine. When told that was unacceptable, he said they didn't have any cold. He iced it, but after 5 minutes of looking at a hot wine, he did pour a complementary 1/2 glass of pinot gregio, and that was well thought out.
Food was taken from the table without asking, and the whole affair was a c+ at best. If RW is to show your best to potential new clients, they haven't figured it out at GBs.
