Rustic Kitchen lunch?

MelissaR | May 15, 2003 10:38 PM

Hi all,

I am picking up family from the airport tomorrow, and need a good idea for lunch either downtown or Cambridge. we're looking for a place with good salads/sandwiches -- nothing too elaborate. I haven't seen my guests for a while, so we'll want to sit and be able to chat for a bit. Here are my thoughts:

Inexpensive (<$15 per person without drinks); i.e., no Radius, No. 9 Park, etc.

Not North End, as we're headed to Limoncello for dinner.

Thinking about Rustic Kitchen, as I haven't been there since Bill Bradley started. However, I'm not sure it's that great?

Somewhere in Harvard Square? Cambridge 1 is a possibility.

Chinatown is a possibility; I tend to only go there for dinner -- who has good lunches?

Per the earlier poster, I know Mantra has the $12 lunch, but the 2 times I've been there for dinner, I just don't care for their food. (personal preference)

Any suggestions? Thank you!
