Continuing a discussion from the NYC board about pastrami... When I order pastrami I usually put a bit of Russian dressing on it, as well as mustard. Some balked at putting Russian on pastrami. I was wondering if anyone knew the origin of doing so? I also add coleslaw to the sandwich... (It reminds me of one of my favorite sandwiches, the "sloppy joe" (NJ version, not the ground meat type).
