Rue Bourbon on Hudson St.?

So after a solid outing of Italian cheap eats at Pepe Verde we sauntered south on Hudson St and came across this new cafe/gift shop called Bourbon St. It looks as though they serve a full menu of southern fare (fried chicken, catfish, etc) and also sell a bunch of high quality products from down south (not just New Orleans) - they've of course got the requisite chicory coffee and beignet mix from Cafe du Monde, but also an assortment of sauces, preserves, and things like crab soup mix, from all over the south.

They sell baked goods and we took with us a slice of red velvet cake. It was pretty damn good - in fact much more moist than Magnolia or Billy's. My question is, has anyone eaten here? They seem to be fully open but I haven't heard a word about this place. Apparently they're open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It looks a little gimmicky but it sure would be cool to have good southern food in the hood. Anyone?
