I finally went to RUB around 4 PM yesterday. I had the burnt edges dinner, with barbeque beans and vinegar based coleslaw.
This place rocks!
The meat was very flavorful and moist, with almost no sauce - I added some on my own, which improved it (to my taste, anyway). The beans and slaw were excellent, the slaw nice and tangy and fresh.
I am no expert, never having been to the places where barbeque rules, but I've been to a couple of places here in NYC, and RUB blew them out of the water. I wll definitely be back, and exploring the menu.
