R.U.B. > pulled pork review

Well, I finally made it over to R.U.B. Ordered the pulled pork sammy. The portion was quite generous, as I had hoped considering the price (~$9). Choose the bun (rye and white bread were also offered), and it was just that, a plain old hamburger-style bun. Nothing to write home about. Twas also accompanied by 3 nice little slices of pickle, and a side of BBQ sauce. The sauce was very sweet, and really not very good. Tasted more like BBQ-flavored ketchup.

But what about the meat, you ask? Yes, the pulled pork was very tastey: smokey & tender. True blue Q flavor, for sure, with nice little crispy bits and pieces mixed in.

Don't think I would order the sammy again, but would definitely consider picking up a pound of this stuff (~$15/lb), buy my own buns & BBQ sauce, and bring it home and do it up right.

Saw some ribs being served as well, and they looked mighty fine. But they looked slathered in sauce, and if it's the same sauce, I don't think I'd like them very much...
