New RTP Indian place

D R C | Jan 9, 201505:33 AM

We ate at a new RTP Indian place last week called Peacock, https://www.facebook.com/peacockrtp. Good food. It's counter service with a modest-size menu...a few fried items and snacks, dosas, biryani, a handful of curries, etc. Most dishes were fairly spicy i.e. refreshingly not toned down for American tastes. Goat curry and chicken biryani were excellent, the only misstep was the dosa had sat an extra minute or two and lost that light snappy crunch, but the sides and filling were good. I still need to try Betel mentioned here a few months ago, hoping it's as solid as Peacock was.
