Eight Chowhounds got together to enjoy a lot of momo, roast meats, and curries at this elegant eatery in Del Ray. My favorite bite of each food group was the first one listed, so maybe my preferences would change if I tried them in a different order.
We had:
Sel roti (like a Nepalese donut)
chutney
Wood roasted yak
Wood roasted boar
water buffalo momo
goat momo
yak momo
fish curry
goat curry
spicy lamb curry
naan
roti
sikarna (strained yogurt)
rasmalai
The buffalo momo were probably my favorite item. I want to go back for those. The pungent chutney was a nice foil to the sweet donut. Despite being in Virginia, prices are more like you'd expect in DC.
