Been traveling 81 several times a year my whole life and finally stopped at Mrs. Rowes. Not bad, but nothing extraordanry either.

Had Chicken & Dumplings special. Very good flavor wise, but the dumplings were those noodle style that I can get at home in PA. Still glad I ordered it though. Was disapointed in the green beens - they tasted terrible, no flavor -like they were canned (in metal)

Also had pinto beans with onions and corn bread. These were some of the better beans I'd had in a while. The cornbread was probably the low point of the whole visit. 'Twas not southern corn bread - way too sweet - not proper to serve with beans. Honestly no better than the Jiffy corn muffin mix.

The chocolate pie was quite good. All in all, I'd visit again, but would not go out of my way.
