On Saturday I caught the train out to Nostrand Avenue and picked up some roti at Ali's. This time I tried the hot pepper sauce, made, I believe, from Scotch bonnet peppers. It was delicious, beyond description really. The bread was so hot and fresh, and the filling was tasty (and fiery hot from the sauce). The service was quick, too, my order being ready in less than 5 minutes. During that time, though, I spoke with a woman who recommended that I try a place called Andy's, on Church Avenue (somewhere in the East 30s). Is anyone familiar with Andy's?
