Join us by eating the January, 2015 dish of the month--- Roti canai / roti prata. It is a grilled layered flatbread found in Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia and it has Indian roots.

Try roti canai / roti prata at places you've not eaten it before, and report back, with pictures if possible. Let us know if you know whether it's made fresh or not, and whether it is made with ghee, butter, or shortening. Was it stretchy or flaky or both? Do they serve it flat, or did the cook scrunch it vertically? Did you like the curry dipping sauce it came with?
