Roseville and Sacramento areas

air | Dec 6, 201005:27 PM     9

I am going to be working and staying in Roseville for the week and I would really appreciate some non-chain suggestions for lunch. Initial search showed some threads that were a couple months old and from what I can tell, looks like this area is chain central, except for the impressive coffee shop Bloom, whose extremely talented baristas take coffee very seriously!

Do you guys know if this has opened? Any feedback?

I'd definitely like to have a good example of Cali-Mex. For lunch I'm looking for both fast and sit-down, no more than $10-15 entrees.

Definitely planning on driving out of the area for dinner. Got some wonderful suggestions from my last trip; Ravenous Cafe was quite the experience! Others on my shortlist include Maderas and Golden Dragon. For dinner, I'm willing to eat anything (in the literal sense of the word) and I prefer hole in the wall over fine dining places with a budget under $35/pp after drinks/grat. Would welcome any other additions!
