Rosenblum Open House--Alameda

Just a reminder for those searching for wino delights, that Rosenblum Winery will be hosting their summer open house in Alameda this coming Saturday and Sunday, noon to five. Rosenblum produces a lot of good reds, zins their specialty, and lately is offering some of their own whites, and some imports from Australia. $25 gets you a quality zin glass and up to five hours of unlimited tasting. Breads, cheeses, and other snacks are provided, as well as bottled water to keep you hydrated. The winery is located right at the Alameda ferry terminal, so West Bay folks can boat on over. I personally think most of Rosenblum's zins are good; a couple each year are really excellent. Anyway, for $25 it's a pretty good party.
