Rose Rage theater dinner conundrum

At the end of September I'm going to this awesome production based on all the Shakespeare Henry VI plays rolled into one. It's two lots of two-plus hours, with an hour and a quarter for dinner in between, at the Duke theater on 42nd St. between Broadway and Eighth Ave. The Heartland Brewery try to sell you a deal where you eat some fairly plastic dinner for $25 across the street from the theater, and I would REALLY like to avoid doing this, but I'm going with three other people who are not specially adventurous and whom I will have to convince that I have a better plan for what is, after all, a rather rapid dinner window.

I'm fairly familiar with the restaurant scene in the theater district, but I would REALLY appreciate some help figuring out if there's a spot that would perfectly fit in the crosshairs of decent food vs. willingness to produce said food within tight schedule (ordered ahead) vs. not more than a ten-minute walk away. One plus is that we wouldn't be eating until after all the other theaters' curtain time, so the usual pretheater dinner crowd will have already left--the first half of the play runs from 6 p.m. to around 8 or 8:30 (I will know exactly when after I call the theater).

All suggestions GRATEFULLY received!!!! French/American, Italian, Japanese, whatever.
