Roscoe's Famous Deli--Downtown Fullerton (mini review)

Funwithfood | May 5, 200508:27 PM

I was thrilled to learn of this brand new place (same owner as Heroe's), that is until ate a sandwich.

My selection was the pastrami "Rueben" (with coleslaw instead of sauerkraut). The meat was in small bits, instead of slices, and had a wierd red tinge. Sadly, the flavor was completely unappealing--half went into the trash. So sad. (They don't make some of their salads (ie; potato)--said they are "too busy".)

I had a pastrami sandwich at R&D Cafe (Fashion Island NB) that was TDF good a couple of weeks ago. It could comfortably go in a class with Langer's IMO (Actually, I prefered R&D's. Pastrami after a martini, "It's a good thing."
