Root Beer Extract

Washington DC Extracts

Does anyone know where I might buy root beer extract in MoCo or Frederick Co.? Penzey's doesn't carry it, nor does the Harris Teeter on Darnestown Rd.

Sadly, there doesn't seem to be a home brewing/winemaking supply store in the area. I can buy it online, but either the sites don't list the ingredients in their extract or the extracts contain stuff I'd rather not use, such as propylene glycol.

If anyone knows a local (MoCo or FredCo or Arlington/Fairfax) home brewing supply place, please post it! Thanks.

Thanks, Doh! For some reason The Flying Barrel didn't come up on a web search for home brewing stores, so I really appreciate you providing their name.

If anyone else is looking for root beer extract, Flying Barrel does have two different varieties, one without propylene glycol.

Can anybody tell me, where I can buy Root Beer Extract, in Grays Harbor County, Washington? Or how to make it? I'm not familiar with the two counties, you mentioned. But Some grocery stores have it. But ti's still hard to find. I think your best bet might be Watkins Products, in Wisconsin. they offer it, in their retail catalogues. Or they used to. Walmart might have it, but where I am, they price it high. That's one of the reasons, I want to make it.
